Individual counselling can help you explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours within a confidential supportive and understanding space. The goal is to help you make positive and lasting changes in your life.

There are many approaches to counselling, some of the approaches Bernie draws from include: CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), Humanistic Client centred therapy, Solution Focussed Counselling, Mindfulness-based approaches, Psycho dynamic therapies, Gestalt therapy Emotion focussed therapies and others. Having an understanding and experience in many different counselling modalities allows Bernie to offer his clients proven techniques combined with an individualized approach.

Relationship Counselling Toronto

Relationship counselling is for any couple who would like to create a loving, passionate, and supportive relationship. Sessions are an opportunity to explore your relationship and reinvigorate your passion for your partner.

Mediation and Separation counselling is often used by couples who are in the process of separation. Through a cooperative and non adversarial approach the couple can often improve communication, resolve outstanding issues and create solutions that are in the best interest of all parties involved. This is particularly important when children are involved.

Some issues that respond positively to this co-operative approach are: Divorce, Separation, Family conflict resolution, Parenting plan development, Conflicts between adult children and parents.

Rates for Mediation / Separation Counselling Toronto:

Rates range from $125.00 + HST per hour to $175.00+ HST per hour, Depending on the services required.

Telephone Counselling Toronto

Telephone Counselling Services are intended for people who cannot attend in office sessions.

Telephone counselling services can address many of the same issues as in office services. Some of these issues may include: Stress, Separation, Anxiety, Family problems, Anger, Grief, Self-esteem, Loss, Shyness, Phobias, Addiction, Gambling, Feelings of emptiness or Sadness and other issues that may be standing in the way of your personal happiness.

If you are living in the Greater Toronto area, it is recommended that you attend in person for sessions.

Group Counselling Toronto

Sometimes, sharing your experiences is helpful to yourself and others. If you are experiencing difficulties or a general dissatisfaction with your life, group therapy can be a cost-effective way to help.

Groups have between six and eight participants. A typical group meets for 1 3/4 hours once a week for 24 weeks.

Rates for Group Counselling Toronto:

$1080.00 + HST for a 24 week closed group.

Group Counselling Toronto is held periodically depending on demand.
